History

Sagemoor’s parent company, Allan Bros. Inc., is a multi-generational family owned and operated company with a rich history in agriculture beginning in the 1930’s in the Yakima Valley. In 2014, Allan Brothers purchased Sagemoor Vineyards from its original founders who began planting vineyards in 1972. For fifty years, Sagemoor Vineyards has provided premium wine grapes from our iconic vineyards to dozens of the most renowned wineries and winemakers in Washington.

Sagemoor’s holdings include over 1,300 acres of planted vineyards, comprised of six separate vineyards: Bacchus, Dionysus, Gamache and Sagemoor are located in the White Bluffs AVA along the Columbia River near Pasco, WA. Weinbau is located in the Wahluke Slope AVA near Mattawa, WA and Southwind is near Milton-Freewater, OR in the Walla Walla Valley AVA.

Sustainability

Since 1972 our commitment has been and continues to be respect for the land and those caring for it. Our vineyards have thrived through the wind, snow, and harsh temperatures of Eastern Washington. Minimal intervention is our philosophy for our farming practices, ensuring positive impact to the ecosystem, our employees and our community in each step we take while tending to the vines. Sagemoor is taking the necessary steps to have all our vineyards certified sustainable through SustainableWA or LIVE Certified.

  • We have six full-production vineyards, spanning over 1,300 acres supplying grapes to wineries both large and boutique. Our vineyards produce more than 20 grape varietals across a unique collection of variable soils, resulting in a diverse range of flavor profiles.   • We are built by design to serve as a partner that can meet your unique needs, from providing quality fruit for award-winning wines, to managing custom wine production or delivering finished wines. As your business needs evolve, our partnership grows with it.

  • Sharing data empowers our clients to make data-driven decisions. We provide current and historical data for each vineyard block and sample brix, pH and TA regularly. We conveniently post this grape data to our website, saving trips into the vineyard.
