Meet Todd Chapman, Our New Vineyard Operations Manager

Great vineyards are shaped by the people who tend them. We're excited to introduce Todd Chapman, Sagemoor's new Vineyard Operations Manager.

With over 20 years of experience growing premium wine grapes across Washington State, Todd brings the kind of deep, hands-on expertise that exceptional viticulture demands. Most recently, he managed 1,300 acres and a team of 50 at Andrews Family Vineyards — where his work contributed to dozens of 95-point-and-above wines. Before that, he honed his craft at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Alexandria Nicole Cellars.

Sagemoor announces the inaugural Stars in a Row Weekend, a two-day celebration taking place June 5–6, 2026 in the Walla Walla Valley. The weekend will honor the 54-year legacy of Bacchus Vineyard’s Block 3, one of Washington State's oldest and most celebrated winegrowing sites, with an intimate welcome dinner, a marquee educational seminar, and a release party and concert. Designed as an annual tradition, this celebration will return each year to showcase the release of each new vintage of Stars in a Row Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Pasco, WA (8/9/23): Sagemoor is pleased to announce the expansion of its team to include Danny Gordon, in a newly created role as General Manager of Sagemoor Vineyards and Wines of Sagemoor. Danny has an extensive background in the wine industry with a 24-year history with Tamarack Cellars, a long-time customer of Sagemoor Vineyards prior to their acquisition by Vintage Wine Estates. Danny’s experience in the wine industry and working closely with vineyards is a natural extension of his background in agriculture, having grown up on his family’s farm in Willamette Valley and graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in General Agriculture and a minor in Soil Science.
